The Old Homes Tour will take place on Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th from 10 am – 5 pm. This annual tour features some of Beaufort’s beautiful private homes, glorious gardens, multiple local churches and artists’ studios throughout the town, as well as the authentically-restored buildings and grounds of the Beaufort Historic Site. Tour tickets are $20 and are available online or in at the Beaufort Historic Site Welcome Center (130 Turner St.). Gorgeous homes and quaint gardens will be featured on this year’s tour, along with accompanying events.
Other events throughout the week include: The Old Homes Tour Kickoff Party/Bartender’s Challenge, in conjunction with an Art Show for Old Homes Tour Featured Artist Hunter Stephenson at the Mattie King Davis Art Gallery (June 4th 4-6 pm), a Literary Luncheon (June 22), the Joy of Living Floral Event (June 22), and a Sunday Brunch (June 26) in a beautiful garden at a private Beaufort home.
“We are excited to be back in full swing with the Old Homes Tour this year,” Executive Director Patricia Suggs said. “This is a really special time when homeowners generously open their homes and show our visitors what southern hospitality is all about!”
