Child Ticket (Ages 6–12)

 

A special Voices of the Past tour of the Old Burying Ground will take place on Saturday, November 1st, with tours offered at 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, & 5:30 p.m. This unique experience brings to life the stories of those who have long passed and have been laid to rest in the Old Burying Ground.

The Old Burying Ground has stood for over 300 years, and on this special evening, a few of its long-departed residents will return to share their stories. While the Beaufort Historic Site offers tours of the cemetery year-round, Voices of the Past adds a dramatic twist. Guests will be grouped with a knowledgeable “Burial Guide” who will lead them through the grounds by lantern light. As darkness falls, the Old Burying Ground will quite literally come to life—seven past residents will appear at seven different gravesites to tell their stories in their own words.

Tickets are $22 for adults and $12 for children ages 6-12.
