Area canvas rugs, today known as floor cloth, had their start in 18th century England. Initially used by the wealthy, the designs and patterns mimicked parquet flooring, tile, and marble. Unique designs are made in a variety of styles and colors, using many techniques. The floor for our class will be painted on a piece of linoleum flooring measuring 24″x36″ Join us in learning the art and fun of these floor clothes! Beginners welcome!
