Clay utilitarian vessels are part of the earliest times in recorded history, including the Bible. In this 3-hour workshop, a variety of hand building techniques will be used to create 2-3 pieces. They will dry slowly, then bisque fired. Instructor will glaze fire for an additional charge of $10. The instructor, Mary Kathryne Cooper is a retired art teacher who has recently moved to Beaufort. She wants to inspire others to learn this craft. Beginners welcome.
