The Old Beaufort Shop (the Historic Site’s fabulous gift store) is hosting a book signing event on Saturday, April 11 in conjunction with Publick Day. Fans of local literature will be in for a treat as the store welcomes 10 authors with over 17 books to their credit, most of which focus on the rich history of the area or local seafaring interests. Several of the titles are children’s books and Deborah Van Dyken, author of The Little Turkle, and Greg Moss, The Shark and His Pet Boy, will give readings.
This is a great chance to come out and meet your favorite authors, buy a one-of-a-kind gift, purchase an autographed copy of your favorite local book, or bring the kids for story time!
