DESCRIPTION:It’s October! You know what that means? Time to harvest! \nWelcoming 4th grade classes from both private and public schools to partake in Harvest Time! At Harvest Time\, students will get to learn many skills of home life during colonial times; harvesting corn\, making candles\, preserving food and crafting roof shingles. \nHarvest Time will take place the first two weeks of October from October 3rd-6th through October 10th-13th from 9AM to 12PM. \nPlease contact Dominique Peranich at (252)728-5225 or at officemanager@beauforthistoricsite.org to secure your spot to harvest!

SUMMARY:Fall Party
DESCRIPTION:They say COVID changed everything\, but thank goodness the Fall Party has only had minor changes. In 2020 we completely cancelled the party. In 2021 plans changed quickly from a private home and the party was moved to the Historic Site. It gave us more room and a whole art gallery to hang all the amazing art. This year the party will again take place on the grounds of the Historic Site. Blue Moon Jazz and Scarborough Fare will be back. This year\, we are fortunate to have two accomplished artists\, Audrey Cushman from New Bern\, NC and Karen Crenshaw from Jacksonville\, NC. We got to know Audrey and Karen through our partnership with NC Plein Air New Bern when the BHA hosted a paint out and wet paint sale in Beaufort. This event has grown tremendously in only 4 short years into an eight-day event with 35 nationally and globally acclaimed plein air artists. We are extremely appreciative to have two of them for our 2023 Fall Party. \nTickets for the Fall Party are $125 \nBUY YOUR TICKETS HERE \n

SUMMARY:Voices of the Past
DESCRIPTION:Come experience the Beaufort Old Burying Ground in a different way with a special tour called ‘Voices of the Past’. Guests will be grouped with an appointed “Burial Caretaker” who will guide them through this unique experience. As guests explore the grounds in the lantern light\, they will find the Old Burying Ground coming to life. \nTours are at 4\, 4:30\, and 5 pm and last about hour. Tours are limited to only 50 spots per tour\, so reserve your spot soon! \nAVAILABILITY AT 5PM TOUR\nTickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children ages 6-12. \nBUY YOUR TICKETS HERE \n  \n  \n
