DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, August 1\, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm\, Watermark Books will host Sarah and Austin McCombie of the musical duo Chatham Rabbits for a free\, family-friendly program on the Beaufort Historic Site grounds. \nDuring the event\, Sarah and Austin will perform “Abigail\,” and they will discuss their children’s book\, Abigail and the Journey of a Pack Horse Librarian\, which includes discussion of the Pack Horse Library Project in Appalachia during the early 1900s\, along with other educational themes that make the presentation engaging for children and adults alike. We expect it to be a fun and meaningful event for all ages!
