SUMMARY:Beginner Pine Needle Basket Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Pine needle basket-making has a history spanning nearly 9\,000 years\, with baskets traditionally used to hold grain\, crops\, and other essentials. This is a beginner-level class. Supplies will be provided\, but participants are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch. The workshop will be held in the Beaufort Historic Site Welcome Center starting at 9:30 AM. \nClass limit -10                      Material Fee — $60 \n  \nTaught by Penny Holland. \nPlease contact our Welcome Center at 252-728-5225 or stop by 130 Turner Street to reserve your spot for this class. \nTickets are nonrefundable.
