Come out to meet local artists & crafters\, & purchase handmade\, local goods.\n \nThe Arts & Crafts Coalition was established in 1978 by a group of professionally oriented artists and craftsmen. Currently\, membership is juried. The Spring and Fall shows have been held on the Beaufort Historic Site grounds since 1981. SUMMARY:Seadogs Legacy Celebration!
DESCRIPTION:To commemorate the opening of the newly restored and repurposed Mulberry Site Condominium Homes and the Mainsail Event Center\, the Beaufort Historical Association is hosting a reception celebration for the community on Saturday\, June 27 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in The Mainsail (old gym). This special heritage event will honor town residents who were students at the former campus or taught and administrated there. We will celebrate the old high school era Seadogs spirit that cheered on their basketball team through 91 straight wins in the 1950s and 1960s\, whose record still stands as the “winningest” boys basketball team in North Carolina history! \nNo ticket required. All curious to see the renovated gym complete with Seadogs memorabilia\, decor and legacy trophies from bygone days are invited to attend the reception.

DESCRIPTION:As part of BHA’s America 250\, 1776 – 2026 celebrations\, we’re hosting a FREE community gathering for kids and adults where the past meets the present! \nA DJ will entertain with pop hits of today and host short historical activities from the past throughout the event\, featuring 1700s dancing\, a cakewalk\, colonial games and more. \nFood trucks will be on the Historic Site for eats\, and beer\, wine and soft drinks will also be available for purchase. This is a family-friendly event on the lawn! \nNOTE: BRINGING PERSONAL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND/OR COOLERS\, SPARKLERS\, FIRECRACKERS OR OTHER FIREWORKS ON SITE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. \nDo bring your camp chairs or blankets and have fun with history! \nJuly 3rd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on the Beaufort Historic Site grounds. \n*We need volunteers to help with crowd control\, facilitate historical activities\, and wear 1700s clothing.
