DESCRIPTION:The Beaufort Historic Site is proud to present an inspiring exhibition by acclaimed artist Nicole White Kennedy in the Mattie King Davis Gallery! The Opening Reception (free) will be Sunday\, May 31st from 5:30pm to 7:30pm\, and the exhibition will be on view through July 23 as part of the Old Homes & More Tour and Summer Party season. \nAbout the ArtistA Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society and Oil Painters of America\, and an exhibiting artist at the Salmagundi Art Club\, Nicole’s work is celebrated nationally for its expressive\, narrative-driven style. Nicole’s passion for art has been a lifelong journey\, beginning with her early work creating TV storyboards\, an experience that continues to shape the storytelling quality of her paintings today. Growing up in a family of restaurateurs\, she developed a natural instinct for observing people\, capturing their character and interactions with a distinctive narrative flair. She is equally inspired by nature in motion\, bringing a sense of energy and life to her canvases. \nHer artistic journey reflects a continual evolution\, embracing each blank canvas as a new creative challenge and an opportunity to refine her visual voice. \nRecognition & AchievementsNicole’s work is regularly accepted into prestigious national exhibitions\, including those hosted by the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society.
