SUMMARY:Flag Retirement Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to properly retire a US Flag! Free event to all. Open to local school groups and scout groups as well. Visitors will have a chance to take part in this unique ceremony that honors the US Flag. It may come as a surprise to many that one of the proper methods of retiring your tattered or damaged flag is in fact-to burn it. After the flag is cut into pieces\, we ceremoniously burn the pieces one by one\, starting with the stripes and ending with the blue field. Come join us for this wonderful event!  What a better way to spend an evening on Flag Day!
