Art Gallery Opening Reception                            May 10th                                  3 to 5pm

An opening reception for the Mattie King Davis Art Gallery May featured artist, Dee Knott, will take place Saturday, May 10th from 3- 5pm. Guests will view Dee’s nationally acclaimed breathtaking watercolors and enjoy light hors d’ oeuvres and wine.

Spring Show: Carteret County Arts & Crafts Coalition                 May 24 to 25

Juried sale of arts and crafts of coastal artisans held three weekends a year. Held at the Beaufort Historic Site on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, and at another venue for a three week show between Thanksgiving and Christmas 

Old Homes Tour Kick-Off Party                     May 29th                   5:30 - 7:30pm

Don't Miss out on this party that will honor the home and garden owners that are participating in the 48th Annual Old Homes and Garden Tour.  Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, and beer at the Duncan House, 105 Front Street. Tickets: $30 per person

Art Gallery Opening Reception                           June 21st              5:00 – 7:00pm 

An opening reception for the Mattie King Davis Art Gallery June and July featured artist, Tracey Huley, will take place Saturday, June 21st from 5- 7pm. Guests will view Tracey’s watercolor and oils and enjoy light hors d’ oeuvres and wine.

June 26                Carteret Chorale Concert                                         8:00 pm

The opening activity of the 48th Homes & Gardens Tour will be a free concert by the award-winning Carteret Chorale on Thursday evening, June 26, at 8:00 p.m. Under the direction of Laurence Stith, the Carteret Chorale will perform selections from top Broadway show tunes at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Ann Street. The concert will also include a special ceremony for the OHT Honorary Chairs, Elmo & Martha Barnes. A free reception will follow.

Beaufort Old Homes and Gardens Tour       June 27 to 28                  10 am to 5 pm

This 48th annual walking tour of private historic homes, gardens, churches and meeting halls is the last full weekend in June.  Private homes, Beaufort Historic Site buildings, the Old Burying Ground, narrated bus tours of the historic district, music concerts and an antique car show are highlights. 

Antiques Show & Sale                                   June 27, 28 and 29             Times vary

Held in conjunction with the Beaufort Old Homes and Gardens Tour in June at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City, featuring over 40 booths of antiques and collectibles as well as a gourmet Tea Room. 

June 29                                             Sunshine Band / Double Decker Bus Party

The Carteret Community Band will perform a variety of music genres on the BHA grounds Sunday, June 29 at 6:00 p.m. The Band, directed by Dr. Art Klose, known locally as the Sunshine Band is a favorite event of Homes Tour goers who may bring their own chairs, blankets or even a picnic supper to enjoy. In addition to the free concert, the BHA will celebrate its double-decker bus with catered food and beverage for a nominal fee.

Membership Meeting / Volunteer Picnic           September 23                  6:00 pm

Semi-Annual Membership Meeting plus a picnic with all the trimmings to honor all those who volunteer for the Beaufort Historical Association and its many events and activities.  There will  be a very brief business which includes the election of new Board of Governors members.                                                 

Fall Fundraising Party                                          October  18th                 6:30 pm      

Gala fundraising party held in a beautiful Beaufort home featuring the works of a selected artist. Artwork is available for purchase. Admission charge.
