January Membership Meeting

Held twice a year, this meeting honors all BHA volunteers and will be at Ann Street Methodist Church in the Eure Building. A potluck dinner will be followed by a short business meeting and the presentation of the Volunteer Awards.
Valentine Party

The BHA opens the buildings of the Beaufort Historic Site for current and prospective members to explore, which allows them to see how the BHA uses membership dollars to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Beaufort and Carteret County. Each building houses different drinks and refreshments donated by local Beaufort restaurants.
Lunch and Learn with Dick Wall

Dick Wall is keeping his wife’s message alive by traveling the country with the marvelous book, Mister Owita’s Guide to Gardening, about finding grace amid heartbreak and accepting that beauty exists in life and in gardening because it is fleeting and even more important how to graciously slip into “Plan B” in your life. Make your reservations for this noon luncheon at Clawson’s Restaurant by calling 728-5225. The cost is $28 per person.
Volunteer Training

Attendees are invited for an orientation for those interested in volunteering at the Beaufort Historic Site. Anyone interested in historic preservation and research, student educational programs, driving a double-decker bus, leading tours, retail sales in the gift shop or helping with the many committees that are the backbone of the Association are welcome to attend.
