Area canvas rugs, today known as floor cloths, had their start in 18th century England. Initially used by the wealthy, the designs and patterns mimicked parquet flooring, tile, and marble. Unique designs are made in a variety of styles and colors, using many techniques. Join us in learning the art and fun of these floor cloths!
Beginners welcome! Space is limited to 6 participants. Materials fee $40. The floor cloths are made of linoleum and are 24″x 36″. One can choose from three patterns that are listed below, if the topiary is chosen, please inform us of the monogram at least 24 hrs in advanced of the workshop.
