2010 Living History at the
Beaufort Historic Site
The Beaufort Historical Association announces
its 2010 Spring and Summer Living History
Schedule. These workshops and demonstrations,
held as part of the ongoing educational mission
of the BHA, feature a variety of colonial and
Victorian skills and crafts, and some include
hands-on participation for the audience.
The Beaufort Historical Association is a
private, non-profit organization with a mission
to preserve the heritage of Beaufort and
Carteret County and to educate current and
future generations of this heritage. The
organization also runs the Beaufort Historic
Site, a 2-acre area in the heart of Beaufort's
historic district. Most Living History Programs,
which are free unless a materials fee is noted,
will be held in the Welcome Center of the
Historic Site at 130 Turner Street.
Because all programs are subject to change,
please verify the dates and times with the
Beaufort Historic Site before you attend any
programs at (800) 575-7483 or (252) 728-5225.
Look for more information on each event as the
date approaches.
